Mission: The Shepherd's Center South is an interfaith ministry that is open to all men and women 55 & older who wish to use their time, talents and experience in positive ways to help each other.

Vision: The vision is that individuals will experience meaningful lives through all phases of their mature years.

Shepherd’s Centers of America (SCA) is a network of interfaith community-based organizations that provide meaning and purpose for senior adults.

SCA’s role is to build and support this nationwide network of over 75 member organizations in 21 states. All Shepherd's Centers have a commonly understood mission to empower older adults to use their wisdom and skills for the good of their communities. Life long learning opportunities and social services are provided through partnerships with many faiths and the community at large.

Volunteers are the leaders in providing in-home and community-based services for their neighbors.

Each August, please remember to renew your Harris Teeter VIC Card Tie-In #4928. The cashier or service desk attendant will attach your VIC Card to the Shepherd’s Center South #4928. Harris Teeter will rebate 2% of the value of H-T house brand products purchased to SCS. Up to three organizations may be attached to your VIC Card
